Glittered Lace

This is a fun, but somewhat messy technique to do. This makes unique and with the right colors, sassy backgrounds. It was a great background to use with A Girl Thing (now retired).

Supplies Needed: Sticker paper (I used an address label for the pictures and full 8.5x11 sheets for the card examples), Glitter and Lace.

Step 1: Peel away label/sticker from backing sheet and set down with sticky side up.

Step 2: Lay a piece of lace over label/sticker. Press the lace down onto the sticker making sure it tacked down.

Step 3: Pour darkest color over the lace and press down on the glitter making sure the glitter is sticking to all exposed areas.

Step 4: Brush away and tap off excess glitter. Pour unused glitter back into container.

Step 5: Begin to peel the lace away. Try not to touch the open areas that have not been glittered yet for the best results.

Step 6: Once the lace is peeled off, you will decided which color you want the open areas to be.

Step 7: Pour on the second color of glitter. Press down on the glitter to make sure it adheres to the exposed sticky paper.

Step 8: Brush away and tap off the excess glitter. Pour the unused glitter back into container. You are done!
