Quick Update!

I just had to share some exciting news. I was cruising around on The Angel Company website for updates and I found one of my creations! Whoo hoo! Under Creative Corner in the Featured Artwork is where I found my AOL Case Notepad Holder. If you copy and past this link, it will take you right to the site. http://www.theangelcompany.net/FA_24.html

You can also see more pictures of the item if you scroll down in my blog.

I am going to be doing some major cleaning and re-organizing in my craft area and will set aside some of my recent creations I have done and hopefully post those on Saturday or Sunday.

Great googily moogily!

Time is flying by way too quickly! I can't believe it is already December and I didn't post once in November! I am posting some older cards that I have made and will hopefully post some recent cards soon.

Coaster Calendar

After ordering way too many coasters, I decided that I better start making some stuff! I just finished this cute little calendar using 6 coasters. It was fun to do and am debating of whether or not I should make some for an upcoming craft fair? I would adjust the calendar to start with January 2008 if I were to make them. Let me know what you think!

September Card to Crop Submission

Here is a Card to Crop layout I submitted for September. The technique I wanted to emphasize was coloring photos. While the pictures don't capture the true sparkle, the butterfly that is raised up was painted in with the Pearl Ex Pearlescent & Metallic Watercolor Palette. I also helped draw attention to the butterfly by printing the main photo in black and white and printing the butterfly itself in color and raising it with foam tape. I loved how this layout turned out. Let me know what you think!

Old From Card to Crop Submission

Here is a Card and Scrapbook Duo I had entered awhile back. I love anything that glitters and I think this one takes the cake. I used the Pee Wee Art Glitters to fill in all of the Swirly Gig designs. I also love the picture I used in the scrapbook layout of my boyfriend's niece. She has a little bit of attitude and sass. While I was not able to go to seminar, while looking through fellow angel's pictures, I found a board with the layout on it! That was super exciting to see.

The Scrapbook Layout:

*T-2658 Swirly Gigs
*T-2564 You Nique
*V-42 Pink Bazzill Coordinates
*V-56 Purple Bazzill Coordinates
*F-211 Marvy Glue Marker

*Reggae Pee Wee Art Glitter
*1/16” Hole Punch

Starting fresh!

Due to the fact that I have neglected my blog, I have decided to start fresh. I cleared out all of my old posts and am going to start over. I will re-post all of the cards I had up previously. I am going to start off with my first item that made it on the website. It made it into the Terrific Touches and was pretty exciting.
The easiest way I have found to get the clock face off is by using a flat screwdriver with electrical or athetic tape wrapped around the end (won't scratch the clock.) Stick the screwdriver between the clear face and colored part of the clock and lightly push the screwdriver towards the center of the clock and pull up. There are three notches that hold the clear face into the clock and once one is out, you can slip the face off.
Here is what I used to make the clock that I purchased at Wal-Mart.
