Go Pack!
It is gameday!!!! The Packers will be playing the Giants for the NFC Championship. I know you might be thinking...what does this have to do with crafting? Well... to push a little extra luck to Favre and the crew, I made a card. After checking the weather, it should be a real treat for those lucky enough to get tickets as it truely will be the frozen tundra as the thermometer will be dancing around the 0 degree mark and don't forget about the wind chill. It is reported that the teams were practicing with footballs right from the freezer! Gotta love Wisconsin! None of the products used are TAC :( but still worthy of a post :D

Extra post for the week!
While I was going through some old cards, I found another card that I used lace on. It was a fun card and used A Girl Thing (now retired), which is one of my all time favorite sets. I stamped out the corset on a piece of white cardstock with black ink. Once the ink was dry, I cut out the inside of the corset. I then took pieces of lace and inked over them. I used Balzing Red Stazon to 'color' the lace. Once that was dried, I adhered the lace to the back of the white cardstock. I used the the Glaze Gelly Pens to color in the top of the corset.

Glittered Lace
This is a fun, but somewhat messy technique to do. This makes unique and with the right colors, sassy backgrounds. It was a great background to use with A Girl Thing (now retired).
Supplies Needed: Sticker paper (I used an address label for the pictures and full 8.5x11 sheets for the card examples), Glitter and Lace.

Step 1: Peel away label/sticker from backing sheet and set down with sticky side up.
Step 2: Lay a piece of lace over label/sticker. Press the lace down onto the sticker making sure it tacked down.

Step 3: Pour darkest color over the lace and press down on the glitter making sure the glitter is sticking to all exposed areas.

Step 4: Brush away and tap off excess glitter. Pour unused glitter back into container.

Step 5: Begin to peel the lace away. Try not to touch the open areas that have not been glittered yet for the best results.

Step 6: Once the lace is peeled off, you will decided which color you want the open areas to be.

Step 7: Pour on the second color of glitter. Press down on the glitter to make sure it adheres to the exposed sticky paper.

Step 8: Brush away and tap off the excess glitter. Pour the unused glitter back into container. You are done!

Memory Purse
I absolutely love the Memory Purse that TAC offers. I get a lot of questions and compliments on it. I am in hopes that it will lead to new customers and parties. I am making new panels for the purse and so for the first time in what seems like forever, it is finally clean so I can take a picture. Here are the two panels that I have had in it for the last 2.5 months.

The first picture is of my dog Ebonieser. He is a ham for the camera but was a little mad at me because I woke him up while I was taking a picture of him sleeping. The second side is of my boyfriend and I when we were out in Vegas for my birthday. We were visiting Lake Mead. I used the Hemingway Collection Papers, Ribbon, Hardware and Cardstock.

Diarama Card
I love making these cards for special occasions and special people. A bit of extra work goes into them, so I make sure they will go to a good home ;) Here goes my first tutorial.
Step 1: Cut two pieces of cardstock to 4.25 x 8.5.
Step 2: Score a set of vertical lines on the right and left edges at 3/4" and 1-1/2" in from the edges.

Step 3: Using a scalloped square punch, push punch up against one edge and punch in the center. Move the punch down along the same edge and re-punch creating a rectangle.

Step 4: Repeat on other side of original punch. This will give you a nice window to work with. You can also use a craft knife and ruler and cut out a window.

Step 5: Decorate the inside back panel and front panel. Set aside for later assembly.

Step 6: Stamp desired images for inside and outside of card. Here I have used Wild For You (T2727). When stamping your inside images, you want to stamp two images that will have a 'border', one on the left and one on the right. You will adhere the 'border' to the front and back in assembly. I have stamped the zebra and elephant with the 1/2" 'border'. These will also be the images that will move on the inside of the card.

Step 7: Using the front and back panel, you will begin assembly. You will start by adhering the image on the left hand side to the back panel. Here is the zebra adhered to the back panel. You will then adhere the front panel on top of the zebra and repeat on the opposite side with the elephant. Trim away any excess paper that hangs over the front and back panel.

Step 8: Adhere the extra images to the front panel of the card making sure not adhere through the window.
Step 9: Staple or tie ribbon on the folded border of the card. This will allow you to easily pull open the card and make the images/animals move.
